Unbelievably beautiful setting, beautiful sites, nice laundry and showers. We found the staff to be very accommodating and really, really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful brand new RV park. Wonderfully thought out RV lot placements, nice grass in between each row. Gorgeous club house and pool. No table or BBQ at sites, so bring your own. Train track right next to park, but it didn’t bother us to hear trains occasionally (late at night too). Managers were incredible - friendly, accommodating, eager to make our stay the best it could be. We only live 30 minutes away from this place, but will be coming back for short getaways often!

Nice park, with excellent facilities. Great laundry, showers, wifi, etc. Very nice staff. Shuttle or short walk to casino. Smoke-free slot room. Windy, as the devil, after 11 AM, but maybe I was here on a bad week. Otherwise, it is very easy to get to, right on 101. It also has a very, very large boondocking area if you want to overnight for free.

“Lake George Escape Evergreen camping Resort” in Lake George, New York - was rated: 8
This is a well-maintained campground, with many amenities. However, it is extremely large and busy, and some of those amenities can get a bit overwhelmed (notably the pool, which was completely full while we were there). They were celebrating “Christmas in July” while we were there, and the kids enjoyed a free wagon ride around the campground while Christmas carols blasted from the speakers. As mentioned, the campground is very busy and seemed to be made up mostly of campers from “downstate” NY, enjoying the country. The campgrounds are actually in Warrensburg, NY, but are within an easy drive of Lake George. A fun side trip from here was visiting the Stone Bridges and Caves in Pottersville, about a 25 minute drive up the Northway. All in all, it is a nice campground, a little pricey, and not a place to go if you are looking for a lot of peace, quiet and solitude.

“Mountain Gate RV Park” in Redding, California - was rated: 9
Excellent CG. Clean and well-maintained grounds and showers. Nice fenced dog run and an altogether nice place to stay. Note that their location in my Garmin was incorrect and led us astray. It’s safer to call and get directions, or follow the signs, than to rely on your GPS.

“St. Louis N.E. / I-270 / Granite City KOA” in Granite City, Illinois - was rated: 4
Park is located in industrial area. Very dusty location. OK for an overnight stay. Playground was very well maintained.
