okay Port angeles has a bad drug problem but at least we are a such small town that we know every one! ive lived here all my life and everyday i see someone that i know! WE ARE A LOVING COMMUNITY AND THE METH PROBLEMS? YEAH WE HAVE THEM BUT WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP KIDS AWAYFROM THEM!
is that bucky 0:42 long haired dude
hahahahhhahhaha you’ll probably will see like 20
I’ve lived in PA ever since I was three years old and honestly I would hate moving away. I know there’s the problem with drugs but here we don’t have murders and we’re as safe as can be here. Comparing here to the place I was born, Tacoma (home of some famous murders and filled with guns and violence), I prefer PA
@browbass17 agreed, this year I was worried we were going to have more suicides happening because of all the stress we deal with from all the work we’re forced to do in order to make it through and having to deal with major harrassments and everything
@AmazingBlaze there will be drug issues everywhere you go, there’s no running from it
I live in port Angeles and just by reading the title I agree
I rode my bike up to the top of the ridge on Wednesday; it was amazing. The first time in recent memory that I’ve ever experience *complete* silence. Saw a million deer, almost as many grouse, a freakin’ mountain goat and a bunch of rabbits up there … all up close and personal. Hands-down the best trek I’ve ever done. This place is awesome.
It’s kind of ironic, because i have grown up in both parts of PA, the beautiful country side, then the downtown stoner tweaker side, and everything they say is true. plus the concerts down at coogs where all the tweakers and stoners and under aged people come to get wasted while in the middle of the wall of death. the worst place of all is the PORT ANGELES HIGH SCHOOL. its just suicide to attend that horrible school, which i still am unfortunately.
The thing about where you grow up is no matter where it is your going to hate it because its what your used to and theres always something better out there then where you are.
You hate it enough to start drinking at 21???? where the hell are you from, if your from port angeles you start drinking when your 11!
Im 13, I live in PA, Its alirghtt, haha, Im not to sure, I guess I am preettyy fucked uppp
Oh, and the second best thing is Frugal’s. For real. Their mushroom swissburger is the best in the land, and I’ve been to real cities.
I moved here in 2005, and made friends right away, and had a blast partying and humped 3 chicks from work, but then after I left my job and quit drugs it wasn’t so fun. I will say that some of the coolest people I’ve ever met, I met here. Also, some of the worst.
The absolute best thing about P.A. is the sluts. Lotta good lookin’ women, and they like to get it on. The downside is herpes. Lotta that, too. But, I wear a rubber. All in all, I give it a 5 out of 10. It’s pretty good.
As a teenager growing up in Port Angeles…. It sucks. But it’s also amazing … But mostly .. It just sucks.. Don’t move here till you’re dying. Cos then you’ll only have to endure it for a little while longer. As soon as I turn 18 I’m out of here.
Port Angeles sucks….thats all can be said….grew up there……travelled the us and will never go back!
This really gives a feel for the culture and the people (at least of this age group) in Port Angeles. Good job on your video, great concept, and great result.
Thank you, AmazingBlaze, for uploading this brief documentary. I’m moving to Port Angeles in July, and this helped me see a little bit of what it’s like. This was the most useful thing I’ve seen on the internet describing what Port Angeles is “like”, and I’m serious. Thank you again!
Port Angeles has lots of beautiful Nordic women; i think most of them are of Norwegian descent; if you hang out in the snack area at Safeway, you will see lost of them coming and going all day long;
i spent the summer of 2009 in port angeles recently as a homeless person; i received food assistance and a place to sleep for a while; i was also given free access to the library and the internet; the library of port angeles is beautiful and very community oriented; the waterfront is beautiful; i loved going up the stairs to view the harbor, vancouver island and sometimes mt. baker; there were very helpful ppl at the bookstores and art store and safeway too! i love port angeles
i lived in Port Angeles on Front street near the Crab House back in 2000. As an outsider, I was pretty clueless and didn’t understand the culture. I slept in my car for a while by the peer and used the public coin operated shower. I had my wallet stolen from my car in the library parking lot. I took the ferry over to Victoria once and had a nice time in Canada. I eventually left though, due to lonliness and no real prospects for anything. It was a nice place though.
haaa…. the safeway parking lot. Still see people there occasionally blasting music, chainsmoking and looking at their engines
Its been a very long time since i seen sean slowy, He was best friends with my brother Kodi Tobin for an extremely long time. Last time i seen him was when him and his friend made there band and came out with 1 cd and then broke up.
Well, first of all, I don’t understand teh angry comments lol There are positive and negative comments on here. This is actually a really accurate video of the attitiude here. I love Port Angeles, but I hate it. Like everywhere. I wouldn’t chose to have lived anywhere else…even when it’s a back hole.
Oh, and it’s funny to stand in the Safeway parking lot because of the amount of illegal things you get offered and cigarettes you get asked for lol :]
And I see my cousin Brad! Making faces.
i wouldnt say terrible place… weve all had a good time
