“Maple Lakes Recreational Park” in Seville, Ohio - was rated: 8
This was the 2nd time staying at this park. There are a considerable amount of permanent trailers here, some very old and not kept up very well. The grounds are very well maintained. It was very quiet. Restrooms are old but kept clean, however there was a distinct “damp” odor. There was what I thought to be a very strange rule listed and that is: you cannot walk your dog through the park, You must walk your dog within your assigned site. I have never encountered that type of rule before. There did not appear to be any activity here. Perhaps it was because they will be closing at the end of the month.

“Barview Jetty Park” in Rockaway Beach, Oregon - was rated: 9
A great location to camp, whether exploring the Oregon Coast, or just hanging out on the jetty. It was too cold to swim, but the beach is a nice place to walk. Gravel sites are clean and level, with grass between sites and some trees. The bath house was clean but old. We did not use the pay showers, since we had full hook-ups. Restaurants nearby in Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi and Tillamook. Large supermarkets in Tillamook. Good Verizon signal for the cell phone and air card.

“Van Horn KOA” in Van Horn, Texas - was rated: 7
We camped here overnight. The sites and view were great as were the hookups. The WIFI worked very well…We would stay here again.

“Best Holiday Travel-L-Park Chattanooga” in Chattanooga, Tennessee - was rated: 9
A very nicely appointed place. Easy enough to get to. Getting downtown was a snap. Not sure if in Tenn or Georgia, but no matter. Gravel sites and roads w/ main drag paved. Had no problem extending my stay by one day, total 3 nites. This place has everything I needed and I would very much like to return.
